NORTHWEST INDIANA | Community Healthcare System recently welcomed eight doctors to the Community Care Network, Inc. (CCNI) team of physicians. Specialties these providers represent include electrophysiology, family medicine, gastroenterology, general surgery, infectious diseases, interventional cardiology, pediatrics and podiatry. CCNI physicians are closely affiliated with Community Healthcare System’s hospitals: Community Hospital in Munster, St. Catherine Hospital in East Chicago, St. Mary Medical Center in Hobart and Community Stroke & Rehabilitation Center in Crown Point.

Electrophysiologist Tarek Ajam, MD, has joined the staff at St. Mary Medical Center and Community Stroke & Rehabilitation Center. He completed fellowships in cardiovascular disease and clinical cardiac electrophysiology at Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center in Milwaukee.He completed his residency at Saint Louis University and received his medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine.
