NORTHWEST INDIANA | The start of 2025 brought bundles of joy to the acute care hospitals of Powers Health – Community Hospital in Munster, St. Catherine Hospital in East Chicago and St. Mary Medical Center in Hobart.
Arriving first in 2025 at Powers Health was Makayla Walton, born 11:41 a.m. Jan. 1 at Community Hospital to parents Fatima Riley and Nicholas Walton.
Later that day, St. Catherine Hospital welcomed its first baby of the new year. Kilmar Bryan was born at 6:59 p.m. Jan. 1 to parents Christina and Keidre Bryan.
St. Mary Medical Center’s first baby of 2025 arrived at 3:30 p.m. Jan. 3. A baby boy named Cole was born to parents Brittany and Matt Webb.
