Dedicated to Your Recovery

Our Approach

Powers Health provides expert care for patients with wound and ostomy needs.

Our multi-disciplinary team works collaboratively to treat non-healing or chronic wounds, which if not treated effectively, may pose severe health risks such as life-threatening infections, amputation and debilitating complications.

When a wound does not improve within four weeks or has not healed within eight weeks, it is classified as a chronic, non-healing wound.

If left untreated, chronic wounds decrease a person’s quality of life and may lead to the loss of a limb or life. Often people with slow-healing wounds have another chronic condition as a contributing factor, such as diabetes, heart disease or peripheral artery disease.

Our team of physicians, advanced practice nurses and physical therapists who are board certified in wound care will not only provide the highest level care, they share their expertise to empower patients throughout the healing process.

Ostomy Care

We provide an individualized treatment approach and patient education to partner with you in preventing ostomy complications.

Our Wound & Ostomy Services team works in collaboration with your physician to assure you have the necessary knowledge, supplies and follow-up needed to manage your ostomy. We will coordinate your personalized treatment with your ongoing healthcare to help prevent complications after ostomy surgery.
